There are two different styles of throttle cable sockets that you may find: one is threaded (with threads going through its center) and one has an indentation in it where only a flat head screw driver can fit into. The type of socket does not matter as long as there is enough room around the nut/screw end to work with what you need in order to tighten up your throttle cable

-Once you’ve found which style socket your lawnmower uses, loosen off all four bolts by about half way if they were already tightened. The next step require you to take the two bolts on either side of the socket and tighten them both in towards each other while turning. The goal here is to squeeze or press down on the nut/screw end that’s being tightened, so if you hear any squeaking then back off a little bit

-Repeat this process for all four nuts or screws until they are nice and tight but not too tight as you don’t want to overdo it! You should take your time tightening these because it will be very difficult when trying to loosen them later – which could lead into having scraped knuckles from playing with stubborn bolts.
